Virgin EVA Resin (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate)
Overview
LEMA Plastic supplies virgin EVA resin for manufacturers, converters and distributors. EVA is widely selected where flexibility, softness, sealing performance, adhesion or low-temperature behavior is required.
EVA grade selection usually starts with VA content, melt flow rate and the processing method. Share your end product, existing grade reference or target properties, and we can discuss a suitable EVA option before quotation.
EVA Grade Options
EVA grades are commonly compared by VA content and melt flow rate.
Lower-VA grades may be considered where film handling, stiffness or processing stability is important. Higher-VA grades are often used where more softness, flexibility, adhesion or foaming performance is needed.
The final grade should be confirmed against the actual formulation, processing conditions and product requirements.
Typical Applications
- Foam and footwear: shoe soles, midsoles, sports products and protective foam
- Film and packaging: packaging film, agricultural film and heat-seal layers
- Photovoltaic encapsulation: selected EVA film systems for solar-module encapsulation
- Hot-melt adhesives: adhesive sticks, laminating and bonding systems
- Wire and cable: flexible insulation, jacketing and compound applications
What to Include in Your Quote Request
- End product and processing method: extrusion, blown film, foaming, compounding or adhesive production
- Required VA content, melt flow rate or existing grade code, if available
- Key performance requirements: softness, adhesion, transparency or low-temperature flexibility
- Estimated quantity, packing requirement and destination port or country
Documentation and Export Support
Depending on the selected grade and supply availability, we can discuss relevant TDS, SDS/MSDS, COA, packing and export delivery requirements before order confirmation.
