Product Overview
TAISOX® 7350M is an ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer grade from Formosa Plastics Corporation. With 18 wt% vinyl acetate (VA) and a melt mass-flow rate of 2.5 g/10 min (190°C/2.16 kg), it is suited to crosslinked foam compounds, extruded gasket profiles, flexible sheet and film applications. LEMA supplies material in original packaging; request the current manufacturer TDS and batch-specific COA before production.
Technical Data Sheet (Typical Values)
The full technical-data table is listed in the product specifications above for fast buyer comparison. Values are typical reference data, not contractual specifications. Use the current Formosa Plastics TDS and lot COA for material qualification, formulation and production decisions.
Key Features & Benefits
• 18 wt% VA content balances flexibility, processability and crosslinking response.
• MFR 2.5 g/10 min supports controlled flow for molding and profile extrusion.
• Crosslinkable EVA is suitable for validated peroxide or radiation crosslinking systems.
• Typical brittleness temperature below −70°C supports low-temperature flexibility.
• FDA and other compliance documents can be supplied on request, subject to application and batch confirmation.
Typical Applications
• Footwear: crosslinked foam midsoles, outsoles, slippers, sandals and insoles.
• Industrial sealing: extruded gaskets, O-rings and equipment seals.
• Foam sheet: insulation, soundproofing mats and anti-slip layers.
• Film and sheet: flexible EVA film, protective film and sheet applications.
• Packaging and compounding: cushioning inserts, shock-absorbing materials and carrier resin.
Processing Guidance
Use these values as starting points and optimize for equipment, formulation, mold and finished-part requirements: melt temperature 150–180°C; mold temperature 20–60°C; injection pressure 60–100 MPa; screw speed 50–120 rpm. When pre-drying is required, dry at 60°C for 1–2 hours and keep moisture below 0.1%. For crosslinked foaming, validate the peroxide or radiation system, ADC foaming agent and cure profile with your compound formulation.
Packaging & Supply
Available in 25 kg original Formosa Plastics bags. Typical container load: up to 18 MT for 20GP and 24 MT for 40GP. MOQ is 1 MT; samples are subject to availability. Standard lead time is 5–10 working days after deposit, subject to stock and destination. Store below 40°C, away from direct sunlight, heat and humidity.
FAQs
Q: Does TAISOX® 7350M need drying before processing?
A: EVA normally has low moisture absorption. Dry only if material has been exposed to humidity or if surface defects appear; use the pre-drying guidance above.
Q: Which documents are available with an order?
A: Manufacturer TDS, batch COA, MSDS, RoHS, REACH and applicable food-contact compliance documentation are available on request.
Q: What should I confirm before ordering?
A: Please confirm your application, destination market, required documentation, target quantity and delivery terms. Available terms include EXW, FOB and CIF; payment is T/T, 30% deposit and 70% before shipment.
